Vendors

How do I become a vendor?

Just apply! All our active application can be found in our Linktree here! This is a curated market meaning applying doesn't grant you entry! you have to apply, be selected, and pay in order to attend!

I didn't get in this time, how do I get in next time?

Here's some tpis and tricks as to why you might not have gotten in and how you can improve your chances in the future!

  • Apply Early! Spots fill up fast so the sooner you apply the more likely you are to be considered! After spots are full, there's a low likelihood that someone cancels, and week of the event is even less likely!
  • Your link! Everyone is required to submit a portfolio; a website, shop, page, etc. If your link doesn’t work, your website is down, or your handle is spelled wrong and I can’t find you, you’re instantly disqualified. Same if your email doesn’t work I’m afraid!
  • Your portfolio! If your portfolio is different from what you’re applying under, it might affect your acceptance rate. We want to see what it is you’re bringing, so if you apply under jewelry and your Instagram is full of bakery photos, it doesn’t help us get a vision of what you’re bringing. Feel free to create a shared folder on Dropbox or Google Drive with updated photos and submit that!
  • Your application! If something in your application is filled out wrong, like your email has a typo and won’t send, you applied under the wrong category, or your discounts section says “N/A” it might push you onto the waitlist.
  • Attendance! Have you been before? We do try and rotate folks out, so coming once doesn’t guarantee entry every time. Some vendors who are repeats bring new content every time, including updating their portfolio photos, which helps them get a yes!
  • Your booth! Having a full booth gives folks a big bonus! If you don’t have any photos of what your booth looks like, it could be to your detriment! If you don’t have a lot of stuff just yet, consider applying with another vendor!
  • Your Goblin-ness! If you’re not applying with reasonable discounts or aren’t elaborating on what the discounts are, you might get a waitlist email! We’re trying to keep the market on theme and want vendors who can match that vibe! We understand a lot of folks already have low prices, and that’s wonderful to highlight as it’s what our attendees are searching for, but that can’t be all! We’re looking for you to highlight the deadstock, misprint, out of season, final call merch that’s discounted like B-grade, BOGO or %off sales.
  • Your Boothshare! It’s possible that the person your boothsharing with is the one bringing something inappropriate, dropshipped, or AI generated! So check them out and be sure that they’re not the issue!
  • NO AI ART! Gob mart is about small businesses and local artists, not AI art or dropshipping! If your profile has something like that on it, it’s gonna be a hard no from us!

How do I know when the next market is?

We'll announce it here! As we continue to find new location that fit our vibe, we continue to build our calendar and will know dates further and further in advance!

Are there a difference between “artists” and “vendors” like at cons?

Nope! For us the difference is between food trucks and vendors! Vendors includes clothes, vintage, art, and even food that's pre-made like sauces or baked goods!

Do you provide electricity?
